My Perception on Googlenomics
By: Munaz Anjum

After a site gets indexed by Google, it sends its spider to crawl the pages wherever permitted. It doesn?t trespass the area where it (robot) is prohibited (for further information, you need to study the concept of robot.txt). If robot finds that a website is qualitative approach of webmasters than a quantitative approach of spammers, it gives an instant message to search engine (Google) and thus Google blindly accepts the message given by Robot as the final verdict and starts prioritizing a web site in terms of higher PR, top results, etc.

Many enterprises leverage this weakness of Google?s blind faith on spider and resort to 'Black Hat SEO' to fool the spider for higher ranking. If they get identified, Google imprisons them (blocking their site) by declaring them as ?Spammers?. Spider identifies them due to ?frequent crawling? movement. Just like a police, spider checks the spammers (thieves) and punishes them (imprisonment).

Now days, theft cases are rising. Police patrolling and high alert security have become norms of the day. Similarly, Google has started sending its Robot more frequently to check. It spends high budget on making its robot smarter to identify cloakers/spammers. This seems to be a real headache for many vendors who practice unethical SEO. Their hunky-dory is obvious. Now all these vendors have formed a ?cartel? clandestinely and are trying for some new strategies to fool Google. When google spends money on making its spider smart, these vendors, so-called spammers, spend much more money on fooling the spider. After all, everything is fair in Capitalistic Cyber World. This may be one of the reasons cited for poor quality results and a bad SERP in Google.

In the face of this challenge, Google now has to look what it can do to plug in. Otherwise, it continues to face the public ire, which will definitely work to benefit its rival sites. And, who knows MSN and other search engines are the part of the Cartel. Truly said, 'everything is fair in Capitalist Cyber World!'
