Search engine optimization class ? Should it be offered?

If you have ever attended college classes for business, advertising, or marketing in the last ten years, you probably had to take at least one class about internet marketing. This class does not really teach you much about how to market on the internet, unless you have a huge budget. There are better ways. They should offer a search engine optimization class for serious marketers to take.

SEO or search engine optimization is the most inexpensive way to marketing on the internet. It is easy to achieve high search engine ranking when you know what you are doing. You can even learn how to drive tons of targeted visitors to your website every day. I should know because I have been able to go from 0 visitors to over 2,500 in a matter of 2 weeks.

I know that is not incredible, but it is a start and the more I put into it the more it will grow. If they offered a class about SEO it would really help those of us that want to own a small business or want to make money on the internet. Plus it is a very marketable skill with companies that are trying to develop new avenues of marketing.

SEO would be the first thing I would recommend that any serious internet marketer should learn. You can create a lot of traffic on a shoestring budget just by finding the time to do the work. It does not take much to learn how to optimize your pages and create the traffic.
